ISO 9001:2008

The UPD maintains a solid commitment towards constant improvement, specially from 2004, which was when the foundations of the Quality management of the service were settled, personnel was formed, different programs and necessary processes were structured and a quality committee was named, as well as a quality person in charge.

From this introduction of a quality system, the UPD has not stopped searching for the constant improvement in order to offer a service of maximum quality.

Regarding this trajectory, it is necessary to indicate that in July 2005 the UPD received the " ISO 9001:2000 certification”, due to the Quality Management System, and in July 2006 it took part in the research project called " Quality Management System according to the ISO 9001:2000 model in the university context " awarded for carrying out studies concerning the quality management by the Valencia Quality Foundation.

At the same time, in November 2006, the University of Valencia received the Excellence Gold Seal  from the Valencia Quality Foundation, the UPD (then called Delegation) being one of the few services whose efforts have been recognized with this award.

In 2008, coinciding with the third year of the Quality Management Implementation of the bases of a new program called:  “PDI Attention ", a quality recertification was done, and since then the UPD continues its way of working, directed toward quality attention to all users of its service.
